Starting a new staff position in the US Senate and mothballing the sub.

Hi, everyone. The subheading says it all: I have accepted a position as Senior Advisor to Senator James Lankford and by consequence need to mothball the substack. I haven’t been the most disciplined publisher, so it means a great deal that you subscribed and read what little I did release here to the world. Part of my new work for the senator will be leading the values policy portfolio, which in a way allows me to apply much of what I have thought deeply about for nearly twenty years to the formulation of policy and lawmaking. I’m grateful for the opportunity.
